Trevor A Jones, Chairman

Mr Jones has spent over 30 years working in the finance industry in Australia, United Kingdom and the USA. During this time he has held senior executive positions in investment funds management, stockbroking and corporate finance, and gained a broad experience of capital structuring and capital raising, particularly in the mining sector.

Mr Jones was manager of equity portfolios for Shell Australia and National Employers Mutual in the United Kingdom. He was a director of County NatWest Securities Australia Limited for 9 years acting as a senior equity sales representative in London and as co-head of equity capital markets in Australia. For 3 years he was Director of Corporate Finance with Westpac Institutional Bank where he assisted with the establishment of Westpac Stockbroking Services and in providing equity capital advice to the bank’s corporate customers of the bank. More recently Mr. Jones was the Sydney Chief Executive for Melbourne-based Austock Group and was Chairman of both its Corporate Finance and Investment Management divisions.

Since retiring recently from full time involvement in the investment banking industry Mr. Jones has personally assisted with the successful financing of a number of mining projects, both in Australia and overseas.
He was appointed as a Non-executive Director of Intec on 28 February 2007 and more recently became Chairman on 1 January 2008.

Philip R Wood, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
B.A.(Syd), Ll.B.(Syd), A.S.I.A., Dip. L.C.F. (Sorbonne)

Mr Wood has qualified as a lawyer in Sydney, New York and London where he gained extensive experience on international financial and commercial transactions. Subsequently, he worked in the corporate finance departments of Macquarie Bank Limited in Sydney, James Capel & Co in London and Resource Finance Corporation Ltd in Sydney.

Mr Wood provided corporate advice to the Intec Group from 1992 to 1997 while working at Resource Finance Corporation Ltd. He has been a Director of the Company since 1993, and was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in 2001. He is also Non-executive Chairman of Intec Hellyer Metals Pty Ltd.

James R G Bell, Non-executive Director

Mr Bell is an Australian barrister and solicitor who has practised as a commercial lawyer for 30 years, including 10 years as a partner in the national firm of Blake Dawson Waldron and 3 years as head of the Banking and Finance division of that firm in Sydney. In 1995, he established his own law firm.

He has advised some of Australia's major companies and professional firms across a broad spectrum of endeavour, and had provided assistance to the board of Intec in relation to various corporate transactions over several years.

Mr Bell holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, where he is a Fellow of St Paul's College.

Kieran G Rodgers, Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer
B.E. (Hons.) Min. (UNSW), MBA (IMD)

Mr Rodgers joined Intec in March 2001 after 13 years of experience in merchant banking and financial consulting, principally at Resource Finance Corporation Ltd, which specifically focussed on the Australian and international resources industry. He has had extensive experience in the areas of asset valuation and project evaluation, acquisition and divestment, equity and debt raisings and the identification and implementation of growth initiatives for resource companies and their assets. During this period Mr Rodgers took leave to complete his Masters of Business Administration at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the world’s foremost business schools.

Prior to entering the merchant banking sector, Mr Rodgers gained three years of operational mining engineering experience in the gold and base metals industries, including at the Cobar copper mine. Mr Rodgers is responsible for the finance and business development functions of the Intec Group. He became a Director of Intec Copper Pty Ltd in October 2001 and a Managing Director of Intec Hellyer Metals Pty Ltd in March 2004. 

A John Moyes, Technical Director
B.A.(Chem.)(Macquarie)

Mr Moyes has over 30 years experience in the mining and metals industry, encompassing minerals analysis, laboratory management, hydrometallurgical and electrochemical research, process development, plant design and project management. He has worked as Project Manager, then General Manager and (since 1995) Technical Director for Intec. Prior to this he worked for 11 years on earlier hydrometallurgical processes, including on the design, construction and operation of pilot facilities at ER & S at Port Kembla near Sydney and Anglo American's Central Research Laboratories in South Africa. He became a Director of Intec Copper in 1998, and was appointed the Managing Director of Intec Copper on 1 January 1999.

Mr Waring was company accountant of Intec Copper Pty Ltd from 1997-1999 and became Company Secretary in December 1998 and was appointed to the position of Company Secretary of Intec Ltd in 2001. He has very extensive experience in company secretarial, accounting and commercial areas of the mining industry. This includes financial assessment of projects and companies for both acquisitions and feasibility studies and the commercial aspects of joint ventures. Mr Waring and has over 35 years experience in financial and corporate roles including 17 years in company secretarial roles for ASX-listed companies and 14 years as a director of an ASX-listed company (PlatSearch NL). He is a director of Oakhill Hamilton Pty Ltd, a company which provides secretarial and corporate advisory services to a range of listed and unlisted companies. He is also presently the Company Secretary of PlatSearch NL, Aeris Environmental Ltd, Icon Resources Ltd and Brain Resource Limited.
